Image File Requirements
We accept just about any digital files however .tiff, .jpg, and .psd are most common. Resolution must be sufficient for us to print it nicely at the size of your finished print. Phone photography is usually not high enough in resolution for prints greater than 24″ wide. However it all depends on the phone used, image quality and size, and media selected. These days most images will have a color profile attached, this is a must! All images must have a color profile included. Not to worry through as this usually only comes up with old digital files which have gone through an unknown pathway before reaching us. If your file has low resolution or no color profile we will just need your acknowledgment that the test proof we provide is ok.
Photo Restoration and Scanning
We love to bring your old photos back to life so bring us your faded, cracked, or otherwise imperfect old photo. We will scan or photograph it, depending on size and condition, and then digitally work to revive it. Using Photoshop we are able to repair cracks and make great strides in restoring color. Then we can print your revived image on new archival paper in original size, or larger.
Please contact us with any questions, or stop by with your photo. Prices will vary depending on size and condition. An estimate is happily provided based upon inspection of the original media and your desired output.
