Castle Hill Newport Photographs

Castle Hill Newport photographs – The collection of the Castle Hill lighthouse and Castle Hill Inn are of two of Newport’s most beautiful landmarks.  The Inn was originally home to early oceanographer Alexander Agassiz and the lighthouse marks the entrance to the east passage of Narragansett Bay. There is also the Castle Hill Coast Guard station hidden in the cove behind the actual hill.  In this collection photographer Alexander Nesbitt has caught the essence of these beautiful places at different times, varying light, and often from the water.
